This collection consists of Robert Coover's papers. The papers include correspondence concerning Mr. Coover in addition to university records, which consist of invoices, as well as press releases that provide biographical information about Mr. Coover. Robert Coover was born in Charles City, Iowa, in 1932 and graduated from Herrin Township High School in 1949. He worked at The Southern Illinoisan briefly as a reporter and spent two years attending Southern Illinois University Carbondale before earning a Bachelor of Arts degree at Indiana University in 1953.
